Homework: MI Survey

"It's not how smart you are, but how are you smart?" - Howard Gardner

The first homework assignment of the year:

* Show your parents your MI (Multiple Intelligence Survey):
    1. Go through the questions and have them share what they would answer for you.  (mark down in a different colour ones they answer yes).
    2. Did their insight change your results at all?
    3. Do they feel your areas of smart fit with you and their experience with you as their kid?
    4. What did these areas of smarts look like when you were a kid.  (record answers on a piece of looseleaf if you like)
    5. If your parents want to take the survey for themselves, let me know and I'll make them a copy.  It may be cool to see if you have similar and/or different smarts than your parents.
*Remember...there are no right or wrong answers to these questions.  The only wrong answer is a dishonest one.  Each area of 'smarts' is just as important and EVERYONE IS SMART.

*This is not a 100% accurate test, but a starting point to get you thinking about how you learn and areas that you are smart in.

*This is not about who you wish you were, who you want to be, or who people think you should be, but WHO YOU ARE!

Have fun :)

Cheers
